In this amazing true crime story, author Wayne Miller a retired ATF Special Agent recounts the largest arson case in American History. In the early 1980's, three Boston cops and a Boston firefighter burned parts of Boston, and other communities, to highlight the measures that layoffs of hundreds of police and firefighters would have.
Burn Boston Burn highlights the activities of the arsonists with those of the investigators, the firefighters, and the citizens of Boston and surrounding areas.
The author, Wayne Miller, was a special agent, criminal investigator, and certified fire investigator for the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms in Boston for 25 years. He has been involved in numerous high profile illegal firearms, bombing, and arson cases. During his public and 18-year private career, he examined more than 2,300 fire and explosion scenes plus provided expert testimony in numerous Federal and State courts. In August 2019, he published Burn Boston Burn (recently named a Global Book Gold Award winner) followed in 2021 by Bang Boom Burn (a 2022 Global Book Silver Award winner).
